Mountain Brook Flagstone Walkway

This project in Mountain Brook was completed in fall of 2024. In this project, we removed the old flagstone sidewalk and several inches of dirt, then compacted the soil. A new concrete layer was laid to embed the new large flagstones. Once the flagstones set, we mortared between the joints. Additionally, four high-quality, low-voltage LED mushroom pedestal light fixtures were installed with a programmable clock. These fixtures were placed with two on each end of the new sidewalk. Furthermore, the mondo grass and Southern Shield fern, which had died due to freezing temperatures, were replaced. Lastly, a few repairs were made to the existing irrigation system.
